Pretzels made with non-GMO ingredients, have zero artifical flavours, colours, preservatives, and have no trans fats.

Pretzel Pete makes their pretzels using a "batch" process. Unlike other big companies, where the flavours are just quickly sprayed onto the pretzels on large conveyor belts, this process takes a longer time but ensures that flavours soak through the shell of the pretzels, so that each and every bite of a Pretzel Pete pretzel packs a punch!

They use ONLY Pennsylvania-grown local wheat flour and Non-GMO canola oil and malt syrup. No shortcuts!

Pretzels (Enriched Soft Red Winter Wheat Flour, Non-GMO Canola Oil, Salt, Non-GMO Malt Syrup, Yeast and Sodium Bicarbonate), Honey Mustard and Onion Seasoning (Sugar, Salad Style Mustard Powder [{Distilled Vinegar, Mustard Seed, Salt Tumeric}, Maltodextrin, Modified Food Starch and Natural Flavor], Onion Powder, Honey Powder, Salt Potassium Chloride, Mustard, Malted Barley Flour, Spices, Paprika), Expeller Pressed Non-GMO Canola Oil.

Pretzel Pete, Inc. is a family-owned, Hatboro, PA USA based manufacturer of value-added pretzel products.

At Pretzel Pete they use what is known as a “batch” process. The first step is creating a slurry mixture of the spices and non-GMO canola oil.

Once the slurry is ready, it is added into batch tumblers along with the pretzels and they are mixed together to allow the slurry to soak through the shell of the pretzel. This ensures that each and every bite of a Pretzel Pete pretzel packs a lot of flavor.

This process takes a bit more time and effort than that of the big snack companies. They use industrial conveyor systems that spray the flavoring onto the pretzels as they fly by on the conveyor. It is like the difference between a 5 minute bath and a 10 second shower!
