CHIPS PROFILE

Boundless Activated Sorghum Chips are made using the Flood, Activate, Bake (F.A.B Method).

TL;DR: These chips are great for your gut.

High fibre foods contain a substance called phytic acid. This binds to minerals and can reduce their absorption rate. When we reduce levels of phytic acid, we can increase the bioavailability of nutrients and the nutritional value of these foods.

Boundless drenches ancient supergrain Sorghum in saltwater (flood), kickstarting Mother Nature's germination process. A good soak removes the bitter phytic acid (activate) and protective enzymes, leaving us with the good stuff. Finally, the ingredients are baked to give it a good tasty crunch!

Healthy & tasty chip

Great to see some activated & gut friendy chips on the market, great taste & crunch

Not sure if this is really great for the gut, but tasty snack nonetheless!

My husband and I are always on the lookout for vegan alternatives that are good for digestion.
We haven't heard of activated crisps before and wasn't sure how we would validate the gut health that was mentioned on the packaging. What I can say is that these chips here have a really good crunch which then almost dissolves in your mouth. Definitely unlike the usual potato chips that you taste. For this price, I would say it's definitely worth it for the health benefits!
