About Purely

Founded by dynamic duo Stefania Pellegrino and Mark O’Sullivan, Purely is on a mission to save the world from boring snacks and spread the love for the awesome power of the plantain.

After years of exploring South America, they fell in love with plantains and realised what a staple they are for many people. Once we realised we could turn this glorious food into the ultimate snack while supporting the local economy and providing income for small farmers, our mission was set.

We spent time developing meaningful relationships with local farmers in Portoviejo to sustainably source our plantains and support their community.

After plenty of failed attempts, they perfected the recipe which boasts no chemicals, no palm oil, no exploitation, just pure love and plantains. Plus a dash of salt.
