People living in these rural communities are far less likely to benefit from government programmes and more affected by poverty, lack of education and healthcare.

EMPOWERING GIRLS THROUGH EDUCATION
CHIKA's

Having grown up in Nigeria, the founder has witnessed how some of her friends, who are more unfortunate than her, never having the opportunity to get education.

31 million girls are out of school, and every 7 seconds a girl is married.

Chika’s aims to give 38,000 girls access to education by 2025 through supporting World Vision’s Empowering Girls Education Program, and will build schools across Africa in the next decade.

REDUCE FOOD WASTAGE
SPARE SNACKS

Spare Snacks saw that 30% of edible food goes to waste due to “wonkiness”. All of their snacks are made from “rescued” produce, and they aim to raise global awareness on food wastage.

Till date they have rescued over 90,000KG of wonky produce, saved over 131,000KG of CO2 emissions through reducing food waste.

They also use recycle-ready food
packaging as part of their aim to be eco-friendly.

FREE LUNCHES FOR KIDS IN POVERTY
HOWDAH SNACKS

Many parents in India cannot afford to send kids to school because of the cost of school meals. And hungry
children simply cannot concentrate
. India alone to home to 1/3 of the world’s malnourished children.

Howdah has a “1 pack = 1 free school lunch” initiative through Akshaya Patra charity, whose vision is that no child in India shall be deprived of education because of hunger.

Till date, they have given more than 470,000 lunches and counting!

PROVIDING SAFE WATER FOR DEPRIVED COMMUNITIES
BOUNDLESS

Boundless supports Frank Water, a charity that works with some of the most deprived communities in India and Nepal to help them secure
safe, clean drinking water
, and improve hygiene and sanitation, through implementation of systems and technology.

They have helped nearly 420,000 people in 617 communities; vulnerable groups who don’t understand their rights, and those in communities that may be remote and hard to reach.
